Polyurethane casters run on rough roads, and there will always be some wear on the casters; if the collision is heavy, heavy loads are overloaded, and high-speed driving will cause damage to the casters. Users should use polyurethane casters properly to avoid improper use and shorten the life of polyurethane casters. In addition to correct operation, polyurethane casters should be maintained on routine maintenance.
First, check the flexibility regularly.
If the free rotation of the polyurethane casters is not high, check the caster balls for corrosion or dirt. If fitted with fixed casters, the wheel bracket must be free from wear and distortion.
Second, the bracket and parts reinforcement.
1. Check the looseness of the axles and nuts of the polyurethane casters. If it is loose, tighten it in time and check the weld or the support plate for damage.
2. Check the bracket distortion. The twisted bracket will cause the center of gravity to deviate, tilting the whole body, and the weight is concentrated on the individual wheels, resulting in different degrees of wheel wear and shortened service life of the casters.
Third, regular lubrication.
Lubricate the oil at least once every six months. Under normal circumstances, the wheels should be lubricated after each month of cleaning to extend the service life of the wheels and the movable bearings. Apply grease to the main friction parts to reduce the friction and make the polyurethane casters flexible.
Fourth, reduce wheel wear.
1. Avoid overload or impact of heavy objects can cause damage to the stent.
2. Reduce blockage or entanglement of debris. The wheels are not rotating smoothly, and it is timely checked for any entanglement of debris.
3. Check the condition of the casters. Too loose or too tight will cause damage to the polyurethane casters, causing instability in operation.
